Yesterday we learned about the rule of “Target Fixation.”
This motorcycle term states that, “Wherever you look on a motorcycle the bike will follow.”
The writer of Proverbs takes target fixation to another level.
In Proverbs 4:25-27 the writer lays it out in a concise manner.
It reads, “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.”
These verses read like a primer for great leadership.

- Give careful thought to the paths for your feet. (Develop a clear strategy that will help you accomplish your vision)
- Be steadfast in all your ways. (Stay the course and be loyal to those on your team)
- Do not turn to the right or the left. (Avoid distractions)
- Keep your foot from evil. (Do the right things in the right way)
Take your Target Fixation to this level of detail and you will be well on your way to becoming an i2i leader.
